Hey I just wanted to ask you guys: what should I upgrade first. Because i have no idea what would be better. I hope you can help me 😀 :

CPU: Intel i5 6400 (Water cooled)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce G1 4GB VRAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P
RAM: 16GB G.Skill

Enough fans to "blow" your mind xD
and a no name kinda 450 W Power supply

so I've thought about a 1060 6GB ~350€ =436$
or a I7 7700K ~300€ =373$

so what do you think? Thank you for helping me 😀

Upgrade the PSU first. You should buy a more recent and dependable PSU. Corsair's CX550W isn't overly expensive but has you covered should it fail. No-name...

Upgrade the PSU first. You should buy a more recent and dependable PSU. Corsair's CX550W isn't overly expensive but has you covered should it fail. No-name PSUs can cause collateral damage to all the connected components. The pricing on GFX cards is abslutely ridiculous. Think I'm going to spend $849 on an EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid and trust in a generic PSU to protect my investment? I don't have deep pockets(after the Ti got done with them) so I opted for a Seasonic G series 650W 80+ Gold PSU. it was only $69 and it's partially modular. The Seasonic 650W Focus 80+ Gold is better. The ever popular EVGA G units are a little more expensive. Their 550W G2 is another option.

After that I would upgrade to nothing less than the 1070. While the 1060 6GB is an upgrade it's just not a significant, that's why I spent 350€ upgrade. I went from a 970 FTW

to a 1080 Ti

.

After that is the 7700K.

All right thatk you... Well I got the computer from a repair store guy... And I know him well.. So the power supply is from I think the company name is lc power or something similar... I also already thought about upgrading the power supply first but I wanted to upgrade the GPU/CPU for far cry 5 and a way out... So a new power supply wouldn't give me any performance boost ^^. But thank you for the Tipp with the 1070.

Yeah, it looks okay http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/netzteile/green-power/lc6450gp2-v22/. Nothing great with
+12V1 16A
+12V2 18A

I wouldn't use it with a 1070. It calls for nothing less than a 500W PSU.
