I have a H81M-HD3 motherboard with a core i5 4570 4 core 4 thread, 8gb of ddr3 ram and a and Radeon R9 380 graphics card. Im wondering about either upgrading the motherboard and CPU and ram to get 8/16gb of ddr4 ram and a Ryzen 5 2600 with 6 core 12 thread all for about £200≈£250, or, I upgrade the graphics cards for 1080p gaming to something like the gtx 1660 super for around £200≈£250, what should I go for?

What is the make and model of your PSU and it's age(if you're recycling it from an older build)? You will logically need to upgrade the CPU, motherbaord and ram in one go since the components individually will not drop in to your older platform.

Better yet, post yours pecs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Post your absolute budget as well as your location and your preferred site for purchase.

Adding the games you want to play will also help, without an etc. in that line, mind you.
