I have a Intel core 2 quad q6600 (which is cooled by a crappy CoolerMaster CPU Cooler) in a Asus P5p41td Motherboard. It has 8 Gb of DDR3 Ram and a Msi N470GTX
Graphics Card and a Corsair Rm 750 W PSU in a Cooler Master M 690 II Advanced Case
I do not want to spend too much as I have already built my own personal pc

Pls help me:)

The gtx 470 is still a decent card. Your motherboard does support the q9xxx core 2 quads so I think I would go for a q9550 or q9650. They go for about 50-80$ on eBay. They perform similarly to a late model core i3 so you should see a nice improvement over the q6600.
