what should i upgrade in my pc for better performance.

ok so im going to be upgrading my pc very soon and im just wondering what would be the best parts to upgrade first. here are the specs:

amd fx 8350 @ stock
corsair h50i liquid cooler
ASUS m5a78l-m/usb3 mobo
8 gb non branded 1333 mhz ddr3
nvidia gtx 660
750watt OCZ slipstream

now the reason i am upgrading is when i play games like bf4 etc i get fine fps but i get random fps drops to around 5-15 fps for a few seconds then back to the usual which leads me to believe that its throttling issues with my mobo not being a 990fx chipset etc but i dont know too much about computers so i was thinking should i upgrade my mobo to the asus sabertooth or should i upgrade elsewhere ie. graphics card or w/e please let me know as im kinda lost thanks.

Your mobo cannot deliver the power that your processor requires. I would upgrade that first. After that if you need more performance upgrade your GPU.

ok so its as i suspected my mobo cant quite handle my cpu when it gets hot? thanks for your help.

Your mobo needs to be updated on priority followed by RAM and GPU. Such a strong CPU do you have, other components need to be at par or near to the computing power.
