What should i upgrade in my PC

Hello guys,

I'm using a PC with following specifications:

- Chip: Core i5 6500
- VGA: MSI GTX1070 GAMING X 8G
- RAM: 8GB DDR4 2133MHZ
- PSU: 500W
- MAIN: MSI B150M NIGHT ELF
- SSD: SAMSUNG EVO 750 120GB
- HDD: SEAGATE 1TB
- WINDOWS 10 PRO 64

I'm playing 02 games: CS GO and L.O.L. But the FPS of CS GO is around 240-280 max setting and LOL is 170-200+ in combat. My GTX960 gaming 2G performs little lower FPS: 180-200 CS GO and 170-200 L.O.L. So what should i upgrade for more smooth gaming performance?

I spent $500 for upgrading to 1070 from MSI GTX960 gaming 2G and i feel unsatisfied for this performance. I think it's not worth my $500.

You'd only see significant improvement if your graphics card was actually being throughly used. Tending that LoL and Cs go can both run smoothly with integrated graphics, you are definitely not putting your graphics card under stress. I definitely don't think it's worth the $500 upgrade lol. But is 100+ fps not enough for you?

Also look into better MOBA technologies. I know the GTX 950 FTW edition has specific technology that improves click reaction time in league and I heard it's actually helpful.

Now it's around 250 fps CS GO max setting and 200-250 fps LOL. I already updated the latest driver for 1070, it's using the same driver of GTX 900 series. I'm waiting for the driver which is only working with gtx 1070. So do u mean that i don't need to upgrade anything more?

I mean i spent much money for the newest and very powerful VGA but it doesn't come with my expected performance. I'm finding where the problems are. But i think the problem is driver...

How are you unsatisfied. Did you expect anything more? Like over 9000FPS? I think there is a certain limit on FPS. CS GO is a CPU intensive game anyway

So you mean i need to upgrade CPU to core i7? I don't see the core i5 bottleneck when i'm playing CS GO or LOL in max settings.

The problem is you are unhappy. Getting a 1070 doesnt mean your game will get instant fps boost. The game itself maybe can not handle it.
