What Should I upgrade In which order

Hey, I just want a professional opinion on what I should upgrade in what order will grant more performance as I go.
My specs are: 8GB Ram, i5 7400 3.0GHz, 2TB HDD, GTX 1050
Although Ram probably will be the very first thing I will upgrade to 16GB

What do you use it for? My recommendation would be 1) a matched set of two DIMMs for 16GB. Not just another random 8GB DIMM (assuming you have a single 8GB DIMM). 2) an SSD -- 250GB or larger. If you have Windows 10, then get an NVMe. 3) might be a monitor. 4) might be networking if you use WIFI.
