[SOLVED] What Should I Upgrade Next?

Hello everyone obvipisly as ite Christmas soon and I will be recieving some money I'm just wondering what to upgrade next
Here are my specs
Ryzen 5 1600
B350 k4 fatality
Gtx 1070
16gb ram
1tb ssd
275 ssd
2tb hdd
550w psu
4k monitor
Corsair harpoon

Maybe a new monitor?
Honestly doesn't appear to need upgrading, unless you want very high fps or 4k resolution? in which case maybe a graphics card.

I build a new PC every 2-3 years and the upgrades I get the most enjoyment and longest use out of are honestly monitor upgrades, so that was a serious suggestion. It's the thing you look at the most after all.

I'd save it or use it for Steam sales as you have a good build and as long as your getting the desired FPS/graphics in your games then there's not much to improve at the moment. Maybe look at VR?

Hi thanks for the reply sorry i didn't mention I already have an oculus rift. Maybe I might just save some money for games or upgrade to second gen ryzen not sure yet as really I do only game

Second gen may not give the biggest performance improvement but with AMD using the AM4 socket until 2020 at least you'll have a solid upgrade path. If you haven't already I'd look at getting a good aftermarket CPU cooler and pushing that 1600 as far as it will safely go.

Yeah just had a look not really much performance gains I have a 120mm aio on it at a stable 3.9 @ 1.375v not the best chip ever but still considerable oc

It's a good overclock for a first gen. Yea there's really nothing I can think of on your build to upgrade, maybe replace the Keyboard or Mouse if needed, maybe headphones or speakers? Maybe adding in that flashy RGB stuff?

Or winter Steam sales which would be my choice.

Looks like a solid setup except for the fact that you really cant game at 4k with a 1070. You should look at a 1080ti, 2080 or 2080ti if you wanna do 60FPS 4k.
