My current computer specs are:

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) X4 750K Quad Core Processor
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 210
Memory 4.0 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
230v powersupply

So to start out my computer was made just for the kind of low end games e.g SMITE, Minecraft, WoW and a little csgo here and there. But now i'm starting to want to play some of the higher end games and i was wondering what i could upgrade for maximum performance

My budget would be around £200 ($300) but could increase if needed

I will specify i'm not looking to run say GTA V on max settings but to be able to play it would be nice, And to be run games such as CS:GO on better settings

All feedback is welcome :)

You DEFINITELY need a bigger PSU and GPU.

You also kinda need more ram. so you're looking at something like this:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For £0.00)
Memory: Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£45.37 @ CCL Computers)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card (£161.99 @ Novatech)
Power Supply: XFX ProSeries 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£38.94 @ Aria PC)

Hey james i've just realised that my psu is actually a 480Watt power supply so does this mean i wont be needing to buy another one?
