so i have an old system 7 years old now but i still am able to play AAA titles with no problem specs are as follows
Core I7 920 Stock
16GB DDR 3 1066 Ram
Gigabyte GTX 970 Mini edition
650 Watt PS
Intel DX58SO Motherboard
Add in USB 3.0 Card 4 ports
256GB PNY SSD
the system runs well enough but i have been thinking about upgrading soon newer things have come out such as usb 3.0 type C, DDR4 and of course faster CPU's here is my conundrum i have around 1100 to spend on the Upgrade i will be getting
New CPU
New Cooler
New Motherboard
New Ram
New SSD (M.2 Drive)
New Case
New PS
Really just a new computer minus the GPU witch i will use as a port from the old computer
So i use the computer for games but not nearly as much as i used to (kids and wife cut into gaming as the should)
i find myself using my computer for as a media server and doing heavy re-coding of videos i use and older version of Handbrake and i use plex however i am unloading my plex server off to my kangaroo pc
so the new computer will be used for light gaming but AAA titles at 1080P here are the two systems i am thinking about getting both are within budget and i cant for the life of me decide on either one based on what i have read or seen on youtube for benchmarks

Both systems have the same amount of Ram 32 GB DDR4 and the same class of m.2 drive what it really comes down to is keeping the system for as long as possible i have had my current system for 7 years so of course i want my new system to be able to last as long as possible
