[SOLVED] What should I upgrade to?

I am looking to update my ancient system in the 200-300 euros range

Current System: CPU: i5-4460S ; GPU: GT 620 1gb; Motherboard: K30AD motherboard for a pre-built model they did 12gb RAM idk DDR but its enough, as well as the SSD's

Any recommendations?

I thought about a MSI GTX 1650 with a i3-10100F

Also would I need to upgrade my motherboard? It only has 1 PCI-e slot

I got a RX 570 4gb last march from aliexpress but it doesn't seem to work :/

Dont upgrade a mobo because it has 1 pcie slot.

Hi Djoza. I usually play games like CS:GO, Fortnite, and I don't mind lower (but acceptable res), as long as I have at least 60+fps. I also do some photoshop and premiere editing, but nothing crazy

My PSU is a Corsair CV550.
My storage is ok for me, I have 1SSD and 2HDD with good space still to spare
My case is the K30AD case prebuilt, but what does case even matter that much?

I thought I had to update the mobo bc of compatibility or smt, I don't really know that much abt hardware.

I could get the MSI GTX 1650 with a i3-10100F for 300eur new, would that be good?

What about the motherboard and ram for.i3 10100f?
That atleast $150 more.
A h410 with 2x8gb,yeah that will set you back 150$.

Ok so I already have 12gb of RAM, 8gb DDR3 and a 4gb DDR3
Can I just reuse these RAM sticks?

The GTX 1650 I found is 180eur

I also found the H410 for 70eur

No,you cant use ddr3 stick on a ddr4 platform.
I would just buy the gtx 1650.
Considering how gpu market is now,you are really lucky to find it at that price.
Intel 11th gen is expected to launch soon,if you want to be like me,i would wait for June to collect 300$,for a new 10 or 11th gen cpu/ram/new motherboard.
You 4460S can still game all those titles.
The cv550 is enough for the 1650

It cant be done.
I3 10100F is based on a ddr4 platform,which requires ddr4 ram,which requires a ddr4 compatible motherboard.
Ddr3 cant possibly fit in the mobo slot,let alone work with it.
You are gping to need a new motherboard and ram if you want to upgrade to i3 10100F.
A 1650 will be more than enoguh for those gmaes,and it would better than a cpu upgrade,a gt 620 cant keep up with anything right now.
