What should i upgrade?

So my current specs are:
Amd FX-8350
EVGA GTX970
HyperX 8GB ddr3

And im thinking of upgrading my processor because im not very impressed with my frame-rates i get around 55 with big drops in gta5 and like 70 in h1z1 when i first start it and then after 15 mins it goes down to 45 fps and in battlefield 1 its unplayable around 25 fps.

So im thinking its the processor because its kind of a bad one, but maybe i should get a better graphics card i dont know you guys know better than me

and if it is the processor can you recommend one to me i would prefer amd because i dont know how to switch the motherboard out and i dont want to buy another copy of windows

you are not going to get much better than that from AMD, there are the FX9XXX BUT you may need to change mobo, and they are toasty.

gpu is fine, i'm using one at 1440p

open task manager and get an idea of whether your CPU is getting slammed to 100% or not.

The reviews at Newegg says this CPu is pretty decent for the money.

maby you need to clean some things up.

better PSU? better motherboard? better cooling set up for overclocking?
fresh windows install as they slow down after a couple years.
latest drivers; clean it of malware/adware/viruses/ defrag it/ registry scan it./ unistall stuff you don't use any longer. delete data you don't need. buy a SSD instead of a mechanical....
