what should i upgrade?

Hey guys.
for some time i have been having some small problems running the bigger games on my pc so i thought to my self ''it might be time for an upgrade''.
but small problem... i dont know a lot about upgrading and what works with what so that is why i ask you. what do you think i should start with?

Here is my Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz

RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz

Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING

Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (MSI)

Storage: 223GB KINGSTON SUV400S37240G (SSD)

I am from denmark and not too expensive but if necessary then im willing to spend a good amount on it.

Well for newer games and so you wouldn't need to replace the RAM & Motherboard you could try to find a used 477(K) or 4790(K) for a good price. The higher clock speed and extra threads on it would increase your FPS and help with more open world type games as they require a pretty beefy CPU. The GTX 770 is a decent card but if you want to replace it I would suggest at least a RX 580 or GTX 1060 6gb. Anything with less performance won't be worth the upgrade.

RAM is a bit on the low side however I'd focus on CPU & GPU first as that will have the biggest impact then upgrade to 16gb.
