PC specs:
GPU: 1650 Super
CPU: FX-6300
Motherboard: honestly dont know cheap gigabyte one
Ram: 8gb ddr3 1600
psu evga 450 watt bronze
What I drew up in about 10 minutes in pc part picker for upgrades:

I will either be doing something similar to this or buying a new monitor (144hz) and pocketing the other 100 dollars.
Any help is appreciated thanks :)

Ryzen probably makes more sense at this price point. But I am afraid because of the PSU... What will you be doing with the computer? Also for these chips you don't need to upgrade the cooler.

or
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZXvkTC if you don't mind upgrading the BIOS with a loaned chip/used chip or other method. But well worth it in the long run for performance (unless the seller of the motherboard will do it for you).

Intel upgrade.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PRGXyk or the 9100f if you pick that direction.

Oh I did not know that the 9100f came with an intel stock cooler also on the power supply it is quite sketch I understand that but I plan on buying a new one pretty soon so thats not a big issue right now

also the pc is going to be used for gaming and thats pretty much it. School work and stuff sometimes as well. also even with the stock cooler and the extra room im still over budget with a 9400 f I was wondering what amd root would be the best as well so i could compare since they are the budget kings right now.

9100f if you really want Intel or the Ryzen options mentioned above. I'd go with the Ryzen chips here though. (including this option: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PntgL2)

Why the 9100F? For gaming 4 cores is becoming quite limiting.

If your budget is around $220 I'd get this. If you can afford more then get a 2x8gb memory kit instead. The stock cooler is enough for a mild overclock.
