[SOLVED] what should i upgrade?

I'm new to pc gaming and this is my first pc, it's not the best for gaming so I'm upgrading and I'd like some advice on what I should upgrade first, I'm going to be getting 1 stick of 8gb ram and I'm thinking of upgrading my CPU or GPU. Here are my specs:
i5-3570 3.40GHz
GTX 1060 3gb
1tb of storage
8gb ram

from this what should I be upgrading first?

I'd say, upgrade the platform first (meaning, cpu ram and board)
that'll give you a small, but noticeable performance jump

Then down the road upgrade the gpu.

It's not worth upgrading that pc really, since any better gpus would get bottlenecked. keep the gpu for a while, and swap mostly everything else.
Also I suggest getting an ssd.
