What should I use these motherboard slots for?

Hi, I just purchased this motherboard

and was wondering what I should do with the 1x PCIE and the PCI slot. What modern technology fits into those slots? I use my PC for gaming and music. Thanks!

Usually things like wireless adapters and sound cards fit in them. Don't mix up PCIe with PCIex16, PCIex16 is graphics card.

You would be perfectly fine not using those slots at all. There isn't much of anything considered new tech that still uses the old PCI standard. The PCI-Ex1 slot could be used for any number of expansion possibilities. Turkey3_Scratch points out several options. Others would include a TV Tuner, RAID or Hard Drive Controller, or perhaps even an extra network interface.
