What should my next upgrade be?

I'm wondering what kind of upgrade I should do next in order to play future games coming out in 2018 and early 2019.
My current specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
GTX 1060 6gb
16GB Ram 2666mhz
1TB HDD, 256GB SSD

If you are playing on anything above 1080p/60hz, then you should upgrade to a better card. Otherwise, there is nothing there to upgrade.

Nothing until you need it.
There is no reason to plan out future upgrades like that. When the time comes you will know what you need to upgrade.

I could say youll need a new GPU first (this is hypothetical) and then a CPU melting game may come out, making that decision wrong.

Bigger/better monitor, dual monitors, better cpu cooler, RGB, different case, gaming keyboard or mouse or keypad, more comfortable chair etc.

What you have is fine for 1080p/60Hz gaming, there's only a few games (some not even that popular) that'll challenge that setup. So until parameters change in some way, upgrades will be either aesthetic or convenience based, not really performance based. You might just start saving and in 2019 build a whole new system that'll be good for whatever is mainstream then, as much as your current pc is good for mainstream now.
