Question What should work?

Hello,

I currently have a R9 280x graphics card and a BenQ XL2411Z 144 hz monitor that works along with it. With this graphics card I can run 144hz through the DVI connection. My monitor only supports DVI and HDMI (up to 60hz unfortunately).

I am planning on upgrading my GPU to a GTX 1660 Super which only contains displayport and hdmi. How can I still get 144hz?

Note that I am not really looking forward to selling this monitor and buying another one, because it is still a nice monitor that is functioning well.

I have read that maybe something like this might work: https://www.newegg.com/global/nl-en/tripp-lite-p134-06n-dvi-v2-displayport-1-2-to-dvi-active/p/N82E16812329326?cm_re=active_displayport_1.2_to_dvi-d_dual_link-_-12-329-326-_-Product

Or would you guys recommend me to purchase another GPU that has a DVI connection?

With kind regards,
