I'm looking to play simple games like Minecraft, Bioshock Infinite, and Grid 2 on acceptable framerates with three monitors, running at 5760x1080p.

My current PC components include:
Intel Core i7 4790k
Currently a single Asus GTX 760
8GB Corsair RAM
Case doesn't matter
ASRock Z97 Extreme3 MoBo
500w power supply (I can upgrade if needed)
Kingstone SSD NOW 120gb SSD with WD Blue (1TB)
That's all

HAS TO BE UNDER $500 BUCKS!!! Thank you ahead of time!

just for reference the total pixels in this is 6220800 and in a 4k monitor 8847360

so i would recommend a 980 or 970s sli for nivida

a signal 970 will handle medium but not ultra on games like bf4

on the amd side a 290x would handle well, but the 980 is your best bet but sli 970s would do better

but for your budget the 290x is going to be the way to go
At under $500, you're going to need an open box/refurbished 980, or a 780Ti. Those are the most powerful options at that price point. At ~$600 you can SLI 2 970s/780s. ~$1,000 you can SLI 980s and 780TIs / 3 way SLI 970s/780s.

Running games like bioshock Infinite on 3 monitors with $500 graphics budget might be a little stuttery at times.

If you're a REALLY good bargain hunter, you might be able to SLI 780s on $500, but that's not a reasonable expectation to make.
