i am trying to decide between This and This card, the Radeon VII is a lot cheaper and from the specs looks like it has better performance, but part of me id thinking it must be cheaper for a reason. what do you all think and websites do you use to compare cards?

Solution
2080Ti is the clear winner here. Radeon VII:
1)Is one toasty running card, even with the 3-fan cooler. Forget trying to run one in a cramped, or airflow starved case.
2)That sucker draws some POWER. Draws 50w more than the 2080Ti, and that card's no pushover.
3)Driver support for the card is already dead, by AMD's own hands; in a matter of months(it launched back in February?)...

Here's a 'recent' video regarding Radeon VII's stance:

thank you, that was very informative, i've just been looking for ways to compare benchmarks and learn as much as possible, no plans to upgrade anytime soon, i only play at 1080p @60FPS i don't need much more than that, so the RX480 i have is still kicking some pretty good butt, there are only a couple games i can't run with everything turned to max.
