Ok so having bought a set of fan screws...none of them fit the holes in the front of my PC fan case bottom one so I have used this one which has worked so far as when I screw it with the fan, the screw fits tightly and when pulling the fan to see if it pulls easily, it doesn't and even if it slightly does on the top right, it doesn't go away still due to the screw being tight.

I just want to know what size this screw is at? because this is the screw I'm using for the fan at the top and its the one that the case came with already.

Solution
The name of the case I have is a Corsair Carbide Spec 01
Ah - that case has custom screws for mounting front fans.

If you have lost those custom screws, then take one screw with you to store and try to find matching screws.

Or you could just drill screw holes to larger size, so normal fan screws can fit though.
We're going to need more information from your end. Make and model of the case you're working with? Also, add the make and models of the fans you're working with, in case they're proprietary(which I doubt they might be).

You're pairing the fan to a radiator? If so, it should be 6-32.

You show 2 different screws, first one is machine thread screw, meant to be screwed into pre-threaded hole (usually metal)and second one is meant for plastic and is a self threading,
whar skyNetRising sown are screws to use on the fan directly, also self threading so first time deeds some power to screw in. your second one is too long so it probably has to go thru the fan and into some plastic holding the fan. holes in the fan are 3.5mm so that second one should be 3mm.

Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW Mid-Tower Steel Gaming Case with Red LED and no I'm not using any radiator I just want it to fit in the front...

PC fans use this type of screws.

I know I tried using these for the front fans but they never fit. They work on the rear fan somehow but never the ones on the front.

The front fans that I'm using are Corsair ML 140 Pro which this case does support...just not the right screws...

Well like I said the top screw I've shown right now fits the fan for the bottom...but finding the right size for that one is difficult as I tried going everywhere but I had no luck...

Are their any consequences for using alternatives that sort of fit in but are not as tight?

I didn't lose the screws but I don't have another set for the bottom fan as I don't think I got those screws..

Ok I found a seller who offers the near identical screws. All I know is that the mm is 28 I think from the one Corsair fan came installed with so I'm guessing either 25 28 or 30mm would do.

But I don't know which to go for regarding diameter cause I can't measure that one. So is the screw that Corsair installed M2, M3, M4, M5 or M6 regarding that fan case at the front? Your help is greatly appreciated.

25mm length will not be ok. That's exact depth of case fan.

Then get measurement device and measure it. Your guess is as good as any.

You're making it much larger problem than necessary.

If you want to know exact measurements, then you have to measure it.
If you can't measure, then get a bunch of different size screws and hope one of them fits.
(I'd just take a sample screw to shop, compare them at the place and get the right size)
Or drill the screw hole larger, so standard fan screw fits.

That's it. There are no other options.

You're right skynetrising. Thanks for your help. I apologise for wasting your time on this.

I already installed screws that seem to fit as said already. That being said I'm unsure and I'll work on those options.
