I have a couple of APC Back-UPS 650s (about a year old) that I am using presently. Would they be adequate to use as a a=backup battery supply for my upcoming new build? I'm not a gamer.

My Upcoming Boring "Skylake" Build:

CPU: Intel Core I5-6600 FC-LGA14C 3.30 Ghz 6 M Processor Cache 4 LGA 1151
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-B250-HD3 LGA 1151 Intel B250 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 2133MHz C13 DDR4 DRAM Memory Kit – Black
SSD: Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 4TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch Sata 6 Gb/s 5400 RPM 256MB Cache
GPU: Gigabyte Gv-N1650OC-4GD GeForce GTX 1650 OC 4G Graphics Card, 2X Windforce Fans, 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5, Video Card (2 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort)
PSU: Corsair CX750M 750 Watt Semi-Modular ATX PSU

Thanks!

It'll work but at full load you'll be pushing it. Nor will it last long. Of course none of them last long under load. Except high end ones with external battery packs.
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I understand that it won't last long. For me, it's all about being able to save stuff quickly and shut down the PC properly...

Think I'll go ahead and order an upgraded version, APC BE850G2 850 VA 450 Watts 9 Outlets, just for the added safety. Takes up a bit less of space on my work tables.

Thanks again for your response. Have a GREAT weekend!
