Hello,
My desktop has an AMD A6 5200 spy 2.0 ghz quad core. I am thinking of upgrading it to a better AMD gpu. Anyone know what I can get that fits in the same socket? Any help is appreciated

Solution
This CPU uses a BGA769 (FT3) socket. The CPU is soldered into the motherboard and is not removable and therefor can't be upgraded.

If your system has a PCIe x16 slot, you can upgrade your GPU without swapping the CPU/motherboard. What make/model is this system?

It is BGA769 (FT3)...

You can see the specs here...AMD A6-Series A6-5200

As COLGeek stated, it is soldered to the mobo an you cannot upgrade the cpu but may be able to swap out the gpu depending on your motherboard specs.

Good luck!

It's a Gateway DX4375G-UW20

I had upgraded the PSU to a CX430, and i own a GPU, but because of problems with the case, it cannot be installed. so, looks like i could either replace the mobo, cpu, and case, or just buy a barebons kit from tigerdirect like i have been thinking about.
