What software is good for checking whether one of my components are defective

I'm just curious whether one of my components are defective because i've been experiencing unsual changes in my computer's performance

Hello ferow. Great question! In case you have Seagate drives, you can run our free Seatools software. It will let you know what is their overall state. If you need to check on another component, it is best to contact the manufacture of that component as they have designed software/tests for their products.

HDmonitor is a good choice to monitor the system. Memtest is a good diagnostic for the memory. There are various diagnostics for the drives like HDDScan, CrystalDiskInfo, and WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.

But if you want something for the system, then I would suggest a PCI Diagnostic card.
