What sort of cable or hardware do I need?

I plan to install a new Transcend MTS400 M.2 22x42 SSD in my tablet. How do I transfer the image from the old SSD to the new Transcend? I saw some SATA to USB cables but they were for 2.5" & 3.5" drives.

If this has already been answered feel free to just provide a link. When I tried to search for what I need to transfer an image every result assumes it's a desktop or laptop where I can just plug both drives into the same machine.

What tablet, is this windows or android?

You can get an M2 to USB 3.0 adapter.
Then you just need disk imaging/cloning software to copy to.

Sorry, forgot to mention that. It's a Cube i7 Stylus running Windows 10.

Ok. Then get an m2 to USB 3.0 adpater, and use a cloning software to migrate the OS and files to the new drive.
