my sys:

xp2500 & DDR333 on a 333mhz fsb

though about upgrading to ddr400mhz & fsb to 400mhz.

will there be notable difference when playing games like BFV?

Hard to say, it would all depend on the sum of your PC's parts. The added
FSB should only be one factor for a fast PC.

Two WD Raptors in RAID 0 would help alot, so would memory @ 2-2-2-5.

About 3% if kept at the same core speed. Now if you go to 11x200 you
should notice it, assuming your video card isn't the bottleneck.

Achieved 11x200 for a brief period of time but then my 333mhz kingston
failed. so all i need is ddr400 preferably 2.3.3.5 which is probably
expensive. my HD is 80GB maxtor 7200rpm @ ultra dma

that is precisely what i intend to do. however with the vulcan 9
sounding like small jumbo jet landing at this configuration i am
strongly considering water cooling.
