Question What sort of monitor to buy (don't need anything expensive?)

I'm not a graphics designer, nor avid gamer (I play sim games mostly) - I should think I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a medium-good monitor and a very good one.

My current monitor is an LG GSM5AB8 (which is IPS, I think it's 22" or 24"). The one before wasn't. I don't think I really noticed a huge difference.

I do though want to upgrade to dual monitors. I use them at work and I'm finding at home, it's becoming natural to want to split things up on different screens.

At work we use £250 Samsung monitors (they're 27" LS27H650FDUXEN), which is quite a lot of money for two, although they are nice.

Can anyone give any recommendations of what sort of monitors I should look at?

My graphics card is a RX580 so can take dual display.
Will be mounting them on a pole.

Cheers

What sort of a budget are you working with? Would you want to include two monitors for that budget or one? To note, please mention the make and model of your (discrete or iGPU, off the motherboard)GPU so we can understand the sort of connectivity you have at your disposal.

Please include the titles for sim games as well as your daily routine so we can tailor a display list for you.

Ah, sorry.
Uo to £400 for both but really nearer £300.

It's a Red Dragon ATi RX580.

Sim games include Planet Zoo, Team Fortress 2, Planet Coaster... Nothing like hard-core FPS or anything really.
Although I'm not particularly looking for them to be played on the dual screen.
Not sure which supports them anyway.
