I'm a first time PC builder and plan on overclocking my build when I finish it. However, I'm not sure if I've selected a PSU with a high enough wattage to support this. My current build is here on PC part picker.
Parts picker says you are going to be using up to about 500 watts. And you never want to run your power supply at max power, and since they function most efficiently between about 40% and 65% loads, I would aim for a 700 to 750 watt power supply.
The XFX is a very high quality power supply. If you moved up one notch to the 750 watt unit, I think you would be set for a nice long time.
