I want to get a UPS to help protect some of my PC hardware, but I do not know what to look for. This is what will be connected to the UPS:

Two 24 inch 1080p Monitors (One is estimated to use 30 watts, the other 35).

Gaming PC with following specs:

Ryzen 5 3600

MSI B450I GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI (Mini-ITX)

16 GB RAM (two 8 GB modules)

RX 6600

1 TB 2.5 inch SSD

500 GB 2.5 inch SSD

2 TB 3.5 inch HDD

EVGA SuperNOVA 750

Simply my opinion, but quality units will typically have an online calculator that can be used to determine the size needed. I have been a fan of APC units as they have never let me down.

Super easy way would be to take the power draw of the laptop brick, peripherals, and the PSU of the main rig and add them all together as the most power your equipment could draw, and then add a bit more for additional run time for shutting everything down or even more for continued operation.

Good point. I forgot to mention that I would aim to shut everything down in a power outage. I am thinking 5 minutes plus should be enough.

Having the laptop being part of the equation is really just academic since it already has a backup battery and there is no real need to plug it into one aside from the power conditioning that some models of backup offer.
