What specs needed to run overwatch for a PC

Yes.

You must look at the games you wish to play and understand both the hardware and software requirements with respect to the host system.

Games often provide some listing of the requirements: e.g, "minimal", "recommended", and "best".

You will likely need to meet the "recommended" requirements and "best" if affordable.

Bear in mind that the slowest component (aka "weakest link") is likely to be the configuration requirement that determines what the overall pc can do with respect to performance.

Check the Overwatch requirements for both hardware and software/OS.

What is your goal? 1080p, 4k, 1440p??? What is your frame rate goal, 60fps 120, 90, 144?? What is your display and refresh rate?? We need to know all of this to give you a real answer.

If you want a good overall system for 1080p 60fps+ gaming on max settings I would look into this.

Ryzen 2600/x (depending which is on sale), gtx1060 6gb or rx580 8gb, 16gb ram, 240gb solid state drive, decent motherboard for roughly 100$ from Asus, msi, gigabyte and asrock. 550w+ power supply.

If you want to go higher you can just move up the video card to a 1070ti. This would be for playing at 1440p max detail 60+for. The other system can do 1440p 60fos, but not fully maxed out.

Depends on your goal. I’ve run Overwatch on the lowest of low settings on an intel iGPU at 40FPS to maxing out at 1080p on a 1070. The lowest is personally reccomend is a R5 2400g APU which can run it decently well at 1080p low averaging 70 FPS with 2933Mhz memory. Ideally you’re looking for a 1050-1060 3GB if you want to max it out and get 1080p60 throughout and pretty much any Ryzen/Intel 2 Core 4 thread + CPU.

Give a budget and settings and people can show you a build
