What SSD around 240GB?

I was thinking of a fast HDD but everyone tell me to get an SSD, are they really close at 100€?

If you want performance, go for the Samsung. If you want to save a few bucks, go for the Crucial. Definitely go with an SSD. They put HDD's to shame.

i would get the samsung 840evo 250gb. its about 109euro and good quality. intel ssd are also very good. both i would say are considered the most reliable brands you can go with.

Intel 730 240gb SSD are around $120 here in the states. Ive had a combo of 8 intel drives of all sizes in different build and all of them are doing fine with no issues.

the samung 840 evo is TLC. the 840 pro (more expensive model) is MLC.

the intel 730 is MLC.

generally MLC is considered better than TLC yes although for the average user who doesnt push their drives hard TLC is fine. in extremely high use scenarios the MLC holds up for a longer period of time but the average user it not likely to notice.

i can tell you that the samsung drives typically hold out for much longer than their MTBF ratings while other brands (except intel which are also good) tend to fail before the MTBF rating. both intel and samsung are good choices.
