Hello Tom's Hardware,

I'm in a little situation here I want an SSD for the performance obviously, and I have narrowed it down to how I want to go about doing it, the big question is what SSD is right for me?

The system that will be receiving the SSD is as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.2 GHz
Heatsink: Corsair H100
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 (non-thunderbolt)
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 670 (OCed to 680 performance)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (WD1002FAEX)
Case: Cooler Master HAF X Blue Edition

(If you need more information, let me know.)

Now, the reason I want to use the SSD as a cache drive and not reinstall my OS to it is simply because I don't need that blistering fast performace that you get with a configuration like that, and that 1 TB drive is down to it's last 100 GB or data (huge Steam collection) I don't want to have to go through reinstalling ALL of that data and trying to go through and find all of my saves and other files that I want to keep and transfer, two much of a hassle for me. So with that note, I have been doing some reaserch, and I am at a three way tie between these:

Sandisk ReadyCache 32GB:

OCZ Synapse:

OR, using the Intel SRT with a small cheap drive.

What do you guys think that I should do?

Ups..sorry.. i was thinking that you'll use ordinary ssd for cache drive.. 😀

Well, based on both product datasheet, ocz faster than sandisk..
But actually, i prefer sandisk, because this brand known for their durability..

No matter what how fast your ssd cache, this is just a system cache, this not mean a lot, if you combine it with slow mechanical harddrive..but of course your will getting significantly faster..
I didn't realize that I forgot to mention this, sorry: I left out the accelerator series because I noticed that they are only SATA II. I wanted to take advantage of the SATA III on my motherboard. Thank you very much for the quick reply though! :)
