hi there. im gonna buy an ssd my rig is:
H310M S2H 2.0
9100f
16gb ram ddr4
gt 1030 2gb
and between these ssds which one you prefer:
PNY CS900 240GB
crucial bx500 240 gb
adata SU650 240 gb
lexar NS100 256gb
which one performs better and is it compatible with my motherboard??
and uh i only want to install the windows 10 home on it so yeah

Im guessing you are looking for a SATA SSD, then any of those should work with your mothebroard.

Performance wise, all of them will be basically the same.

As for which one to buy, I would aim for Adata, PNY, Crucial or Lexar in that order.

If I have to pick a SATA SSD the Crucial MX500, or WD Blue or the Samsung 870 Evo / 860 Pro would be my options is posible.

As long as you get it with warranty it should be ok.

Personally, I would get the Crucial.
I havent looked up the others but most cheapy SSDs dont come with DRAM cache unlike premium SSDs.
I have 3 pcs running with the BX500 and all is good.
I think the MX500 has a DRAM cache so is better, but more expensive if you are on a budget.
Your mobo has an m.2 slot but it looks like its not NVME

I see you have a 1030 which tells me you are probably playing some older video games, if your budget allows I would get a larger drive as they represent better value and will let you put your favourite apps on your SSD. The 1TB MX500 at £75.99 would be my recommendation but I realise that's a lot more.

But, do not put too much weight on synthetic performance benchmarks.
An a gross level, all ssd devices perform well in normal work.
Some 2-6x faster in sequential and 40x faster in random performance compared to a HDD.
You will be hard pressed to detect any diference among any ssd devices.

It is a C drive mover, not a clone. So long as the ssd is large enough to hold the used contents of your hdd it will work.

No.
Many things will default to the C drive.
When a small C drive gets near full, it will slow down and lose the ability to update.
Larger drives will last longer.
