what storage setup for high performance/gaming exp

i was wondering what storage setup to use for my custom pc, im planning to buy 2 ssd 480gb intel 730 and 1 hdd 7200rpm 1tb, but this is quiet expensive so can i raid0 2hdd's and setup the a ssd for boot drive? or is my current plan worth the money? it now is a 2800$ build and thats without the custom watercooling, with that it will be maybe 3100$

Regular drives in RAID 0 will not be as fast as a single SSD. Get one of the SSDs for Windows and programs and a regular drive for data storage.

I have two 120 gig SSD drives in RAID 0 and have not had space issues with that so a 480 gig SSD should be plenty for you.

that makes alot of sense also with programs/games on the ssd and data on hdd. can't believe i didnt think of that, thanks alot man
