Question what storage should i buy?

i have changed my build and new build has this mb: Asus B450M-A
what storage should i buy?
i have Crucial MX500 1TB in my mind and also WD Blue SN570 M.2 1TB but i don't know which one to choose or even if there is another BETTER option
help me please

Really? I read somewhere that MX500 has DRAM and is better to buy if you want to have only one storage compared to SN570 which is DRAMless
What do you think about that?

And also, is there any better option than SN570?

I have that board already, just changed my ram and cpu so i wanted to change my current hdd and buy a better storage, thats it

SN 770 is better than SN570......65 bucks for 1 TB; 35 bucks for 500 GB.

Gen 4 rather than gen 3. You can also move to the SN 850 series, but they will cost more for not much faster speeds.

Speed when dramless is highly influenced by the specific controller on the drive and WD seems to have a very good idea on how to tune the controller to get good speeds without dram.

There are a lot of speed tests out there comparing the SN770 to various drives. It has been reduced in price in the last few weeks, so is a better bargain by comparison.

Either one should be fine.
The advantage of the m.2 is less cable clutter.
Perf wise unless your moving big chunks of data you won't see a diff.
