What storage ?

Need some advice guys.
I'd like to know what should I go with on my new system.

Single 250GB ssd + 2T Seagate hybrid

Or

Dual 250GB Samsung Evo's

Both options are roughly the same price. I'll likely never need 2T or memory. And if I did I could always add more later. What do you guys think?

250 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD (I prefer HDD to Hybrid). Consider WD 2 TB HDD too.

If you are sure that you don't need more storage then go for the dual SSDs in raid 0 for maximum performance.

You should be fine with 2 SSDs in RAID 0 then - it will double the throughput of an individual SSD and you should be able to launch most apps in under 20 seconds.

With the possibility of a hard drive failure should i add a hybrid drive later to back the ssd ' s ?

SSDs are less likely to fail but I would always keep a backup of critical files on at least 2 different mediums and in 3 different places.

So if I run 2 SSDs in RAID 0, could I run a HDD in RAID 1 to back them? I don't think I've seen to different hard drives in RAID 1. Is that even possible?

You would need two identical hard drives in RAID one. What I mean is that you should have 2 different mediums (e.g. a USB stick and a CD) with three copies of the files you are backing up (with one extra CD or USB drive (as in the example) to provide the third copy). You should then store at least one of the backups off site in case of a natural disaster.
