Hi, the past few months I was thinking on changing my CPU, but I have a doubt.
This is my PC:
-Motherboard: Asus H81M-A
-CPU: i5 4460
-RAM: 2x8gb Kingston DDR3
-GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 8gb vram

And, for changing the cpu, should I buy a lga1150 cpu (i7 4790k) and keep the ddr3 ram OR should I buy a new motherboard with socket 1151 and buy an i7 8700k BUT I have to buy ddr4 ram and a nice cooling system because its an i7. Since I dont have much budget/money to spent on, should I buy the 4790k and keep the mother with ddr3, OR wait and buy a new mother with the 8700k, ddr4 ram, etc...
I almost only use my pc for gaming.
Thanks and I hope you have understood me since my english is not so good.

Solution
It is more or the less same price for either path unless buying a used 4790k. A ryzen 2600 and accompanying board and ram is around 400, equally an i5 8600 and accompanying board and ram is slightly more expensive but still around 450. A new 4790k from Amazon and newegg are asking for between 400-450 usd
