compare the i7 920 which is $299 to a amd 940 is the same as a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 in benchmarks

Do you have a preference as to ATI/nVidia? AMD/Intel? Do you have a monitor? If so, what is the resolution? What games? And as noted ..... what is your budget?

edit: I fergit .... from what vendor and country would you like to purchase?
