What temperatures should a i7 6700K get with a H100i GTX?

Hi all,

I am using the h100i GTX for my new pc, which is paired with the i7 6700k. The first time I booted the PC into the bios it was showing 37-40 degrees C, or 98 - 104 F. Not sure if that is a normal for idle temps.

6700k running stock clocks/vcore that sounds normal. the processor likely isn't throttling down to its lowest power state while you are in the bios. if you load into windows and let the system idle you will likely see your temps fall into the 29-33c range, but that depends on your ambient temps.

In idle I am around 25C-35C, using a h110i gtx cooler. It moves around like that because of the room temperature (When I open and close the window).

I idle at ~20c. And I'm using a H80i GT with MX-4 TIM. There is no way you should be that warm. I have found Skylake to be an extremely cool running processor.

While gaming for almost an hour (BF4) temps were around 40-45c.
