Newegg currently has a promo on the ASRock 970 Extreme3, $90 with a $40 rebate, which seems pretty great. You'll definitely want to avoid most, if not all 760G chipset based boards.

That said, are you being given the CPU for free? I would strongly advise against buying a CPU released in 2012 on a platform that has been dead for almost 5 years, in 2017, unless you're getting a screaming deal.

I took a look at Newegg's offerings, you want at least a 970 based board with UEFI bios. I remember the 760g from the Athlon/Phenom days, you can do better than that.

I wouldn't recommend the 970 Extreme 3, it has VRMs that are almost just as weak as the 760G boards. A lot of the cheap 970 chipset boards aren't any good for the 8 core CPUs either.

The Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P isn't that great either. Minimum for an FX 8350 would to be something like the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P or MSI 970 Gaming.
