so i built my computer today fpr all i know everything is plugged in (i5 4670k gtx760 gigabyte z87x ud3h motherboard) well i try to boot it up and the bios led will flash then all the fans and my cooler wil rubn for 3 seconds then stop and continue
please help!!!!

Try checking your power connections to the mobo (both 24 and 4/8) , the rest of the power and data connections (drives/GPU/etc)...try it, if no joy reseat the DRAM, still no joy, try with 1 stick of DRAM...still nothing what PSU , what DRAM (model#)...may have an underpowered PSU

my psu is a thermaltake 850w so i dont think its underwatted
but i have no idea wht the 4/8 connector is i can not find it on my mobo

Should have a cable that has a 4 Pin or two attached 4 pin connectors from your PSU, they plug into the ATX connector on the mobo, normally to right of CPU socket towards the back of the mobo
