My PC tells me that it failed to post when i turn it on, it has happened twice already but when i press f1 it continues on and works perfectly, does anyone have any clue as to what the hell is wrong with this thing, cause i am stumped.

I JUST bought this pc

Asus M2N nForce 570
ATi Radeon 2900
2x1gb kingston value ram
1x WD raptor 74gb

You did not say what you had for a power supply. That 2900 uses up the juice. The crappy old 80gb probably has sticky bearings by not which used up the juice when it initially spins up; especially if you are talking about turning it on after it has been off overnight. If everything works when you press F1, I suspect weak power causing power good to fluctuate, causing a post failure. Second cause would be RAM if you are getting crashes during normal operation but I lean toward power with lack of further information.

I dont think it is the psu cause i have a 550W Coolermaster and am way within the limits of consumption according to every power use calculator i have used, even on 100% usage of all components. It has not crashed. It simply gives me crap when I turn it on. If the situation worsens i am taking the whole thing back to the place i got it and i am killing them.

I have no clue about an error log, i will try to find out if it does this again.

That will also happen of for any reason you turn off the power before a full post...lets say you want to check something and say ohhh crap power it down to check a connection...it will do this....have you powered down before a full post?
