What to buy

Hello guys, i'm new here... I want to buy a laptop for school cause my old one has messed up with the mother board, i want to buy something normal with normal specs cause i already have a desktop with very high specs... Soo i looked in some stores what i see was: toshiba windows 8.1 original, amd e300, 4gb ram DDR3, 360GB hdd. The Second was toshiba windows 7 original, intel pentium inside, 2gb ddr3, 600GB hdd, they're both at the same price but i'm confused which one shall i buy~thanks in advance

OK, based on the specs you've provided they are both adequate machines. Ask yourself Do you want speed or space? TWhat chip is the second one running? That would make the difference to me. But personally I'd stay away from toshiba. My wife has one and we are not at all happy with it.

How much are you looking to spend? Look at Eurocom, they are great machines that are completely upgradable and customizable. You will pay a bit more but you might be able to off set that with a student discount.
