dear friends, i need a card that can play mkv movies(hevc 4k hdr 10 bit x265) for my lg oled 4k,during my research i found that the gtx1030 is enough but some posts say i need at least 1050 or 1050 ti,please help.(typically these movies are about 80 to 100gbs)

If the movies are HTML5 you will need a better GPU, but otherwise the videos will be CPU bound and a 1030 will be fine. That's the ONLY reason you would need anything more than a 1030 for 4k, assuming you are not gaming or doing any kind of video editing on the GPU. For those you're going to need a lot more than a 1050.
