Question what to do about high cpu temp

It appears to have enough intakes, you could maybe put 1 x 120mm exhaust fan in roof as added cooling above the CPU.
What CPU cooler do you have?

downside to more exhausts is it just blows hot air into room. You need a source of cool air or it just heats up everything. I been lucky last 3 years and it hasn't been hot here in summer, but I don't expect it to last. If its over 40c outside I may not bother turning pc on

stock amd cooler that came with prebuilt

strange thing is that even at max load on cpu when its at 90C the air from exhaust isnt warm so its almost like hot air is trapped in cpu, only heat that i notice is when gpu is at max load

What were you running to get those temps? only thing I can run that makes mine that hot is prime 95
Cinebench can't

an exhaust fan above it might help. Since I can guess parents wouldn't let you replace anything.

I have more exhausts than intakes meaning if I play games in summer my room heats up fast and makes me open a door to get air from rest of house. That can happen in winter too unless I open my window up.

next time you take screen shot, scroll down hwinfo and click the arrow next to Core effective clocks and take a screen shot of all cores. As its possible the temp was only 1 core and most of CPU wasn't hot at all.

I might need to use my horizontal fan this year. I got it 3 years ago and its not really been needed.

reached those temps when compiling source engine map but with cpu-z stress test it reaches about same temps just about less then 1C lower

The highest you got today = max all core speed. Its running 100 mhz slower if its also running at around 90 as that is its max temp. It throttles down to not damage itself.

try the top exhaust fan, it will reduce amount of heat around the CPU.

luckily my parents finally agreed to change thermal paste but it might take time but luckily in most games i play max temp it reaches is 80C so it should be ok till thermal paste can get changed
