Hi everyone,

I live in Brazil, and my uncle is going to USA, so I've got the chance of making an upgrade of my GPU (EVGA 780 GTX).

My plan is selling the 780 here and invest that money on a new GPU, cause I'm planing to buy a 144hz 1080p monitor as well.

Considering I have little room for decision cause my uncle is coming back the 11th of June.... My question is:

What guys do you recomend in my situation?

-Buying a GTX 980 (which do you recomend?)
-Buying the 980Ti (out of stock everywhere)
-Buying another GPU (AMD R9 295X2 maybe? it's worth it?)
-Stuck with my 780 and wait a bit due to the new arrival of AMD series and consecuent price drop of NVIDIA's, considering that I don't know when I'll have the chance of buying in USA again.

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.

My advice if you're buying now is to go with a GTX970 SLi. Same price as a single GTX980Ti, but way more graphics power.

But if you're willing to wait then I'd second AdviserKulikov. The AMD announcement is so stupidly close it would be foolish not to at least see what they have to offer.

OK, i wait then. Will the amd's available this week already?
Regarding the gtx 970, which model do you recomend guys? Is my 1000w PSU enough to handle the Sli?

Edit: I just realized my mobo doesn't support sli.

That is a pain. Though I wish I didn't spend the extra money for SLI and Crosfire on my mobo since I'm going to upgrade it and never made use of that feature.
