What To Do If I RMA My GPU?

I'm planning to RMA my MSI Gaming X RX480. One of the fans does not function properly so it is not getting proper cooling. Thing is, I'd hate to be out of a graphics card for a month or longer. What do I do? Do I buy a new GPU now and try to sell it when MSI sends me my fixed GPU? How do I avoid getting an RMA done without having a useless computer for a long time?

You CAN buy a second GPU for backup, but honestly you're just wasting money. I presume this also means that your CPU doesn't have an iGPU? Worst case you'll just have to wait. Otherwise buying one and trying to sell is an option, just not something I would do personally
