What to do if itunes confiquration is corrupt when trying to unistall

Hi Trying to uninstall i-tunes and keep receiving pop-up "the configuration data for this product is corrupt contact your support personnel." I have purchased a windows install utility: Error Wiz as have been trying to install i-tunes 10.0 for 6 days

Try Revo Uninstaller or reinstalling iTunes over itself.

thanks I am installing Revo now. What does installing i-tunes over i-tunes mean? Appreciate the help as I am outside my comfort zone here!

Just install iTunes without uninstalling it first.
