What to do when my computer goes onto that black screen and says no bo

Everytime I turn on my computer it says no boot device aviable. What should I do?

Check the cables to the hard drive. Make sure they are secure.

Boot into the BIOS, and make sure the hard drive is listed as the first boot device.
