What to do with new pc?

Hi.
I'm new to this forum and i have a question.
I got a new gaming pc installed windows on it. is there a guide on what to do first?
Like how to get the most performance out of my new pc? I got Mcafee for antivirus.

Specs: fx 6300, gtx 750 ti, 8gb ram.

aha that's fine i didn't even install it yet. my sister bought a set and you can use it on multiple pc's. i'll just use AVG.
that seems to work fine. anything else?

Sorry for the late response .
Basically you need to install drivers,if not already done soo.
I don't usually use av protections though . I don't need it as all I do is play games
