What to do with the old graphics cards...

I recently bought and installed a Gigabyte Windforce 970 Gaming, previously I was running with Asus 9800 SLI and my step dad was mentioning something about being able to still use them if I was to dedicate them to something like Nvidia PhysX that way I dont just throw them away and my 970 will be able to focus more power on other tasks. I was just looking for thoughts on this idea 😛

The 9800 would actually hinder your performance by using it as a dedicated physx card. The recommend cards for a dedicated physx card are 650ti, 750ti or 760. If you do not throw them away keep them on a shelf to look at or open them up to learn how to change thermal paste of graphic cards

You can sell it on ebay, people are always willing to buy old GPU for their HTPC or home servers.

I'd probably go ahead and sell on on EBay/Craigslist and keep the second as an emergency spare.
